ABOUT
What is Healthcare Burnout Coaching?

Coaching IS

  • A safe space to be yourself and share your thoughts without fear of judgement

  • Discussing both your personal and professional life (if you want)

  • You making choices that fit your life

  • Me providing insight on how your brain works

  •  Us working together to achieve your goals and manage your burnout

Coaching is NOT

  • Me telling you how to live your life

  • A quick overnight fix

  • Me telling you to stay in healthcare. Or me telling you to leave it

  • Therapy- deep diving into the past

  • Toxic positivity or "fake it till you make it"

Coaching is all about collaboration. The goal is to find out what you need to be more confident, successful, and happy in your life. When entering a coaching program with me, I take time to listen to your thoughts and find out about your current situation. Together, we will use evidence-based cognitive work, knowledge of evolutionary biology and socialization, and your intuition to create a plan to get you where you want to be.

I use a simple thought work model that makes you aware of how your thoughts create your feelings, which create your results. When you're able to break down how you're getting your current results, it becomes easier to understand how to change your future outcomes.

You are an individual. There is no "one size fits all" solution. I'm here to find what works for YOU and give you the support and confidence to go after whatever that might be.

Non-Healthcare Stuff (and why I'm here now)

I am a Master Certified Professional Life Coach (MCPC). I trained with the Certified Life Coach Institute (an ICF accredited program.) I started on my self-coaching journey by listening to thought work and life coaching podcasts in 2020... yeah, you know that year... and I can honestly say that I would not have stayed in healthcare without this work. I see so many people in healthcare struggling with burnout and leaving the profession because they feel helpless to the system. I started sharing what I was learning and got positive feedback about my approach and explanations. The more I learned about coaching, the more I knew it was my calling. Clients and friends who have received coaching say they feel comfortable sharing with me and gain immediate insight and action steps from only one session. My passion is finding a way to unlock new awareness within each client and allow them to truly change their life, one thought at a time!

Healthcare Stuff

I'm currently an educator at a hospital in Denver, CO. I graduated with my BSN from Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2012. I completed my MSN-Education and got my certification in nursing professional development (NPD-BC) in 2022. My background includes nursing in adult float pool, pediatrics, and procedural/surgical areas. I've been called a "jack of all trades" and a "nurse Swiss army knife" because of my wide scope of knowledge and ability to critically think or find resources to get through most clinical situations.
